Happy Comics #15

Happy Comics #15 is an anthology featuring animal character stories. "Soapy" shows a character who attempts to outsmart a hound camping at his doorstep by feigning starvation and claiming to have outrun wolves to secure acorns for food. "The Canyon Codger" by Ken Hultgren depicts an old prospector and his animal companions encountering a sleeping stranger in a canyon, remarking that old hens don't recognize different dogs. A third story follows Pop, a character learning lessons from comic books, who must deal with a fox villain and teach his son about boxing after the fox punches him multiple times, ultimately revealing he learned the technique from a comic book.
