Goofy Comics #34

The main story features Goofy Gander in "The Runaway Train," where Goofy and his nephew Peter Pigly plan a fishing trip to Lily Pad Lake, but their boat sinks during a rowing contest with Uncle Pigly. In a separate segment, Peter Pigly has a chaotic morning getting ready for school, oversleeping and struggling with breakfast and his clothes before heading out. The issue also includes a story involving a gingerbread man character who comes to life and is chased by various characters attempting different cooking methods—baking him in ice water, boiling him in pie, dunking him in soup, and various other mishaps—before ultimately ending up dizzy and unable to run.
