G.I. Joe #1

A soldier named Dickie receives a letter from his father after two years of being missing, presumed dead following a plane crash in the Rockies. When a friend discovers the letter and sends it to Dickie's unit shipping out for Korea, Dickie is reunited with his father, who reveals he had been discovered and rescued. During an adventure in a monastery in the mountains, Dickie encounters a sacred lama and gets caught up in comic misadventures involving the monks before finally finding a moment to write a letter home to his family about his safety.
