Fawcett Movie Comic 14 - The Last Outpost #1

A military officer at the Washington emissary receives orders from Major Riordan to negotiate with the Apaches for their aid against the confederate army, with contact to be made on the twenty-fifth. The officer must arrange for a jailed Confederate officer named McCloud to be freed from jail so he can infiltrate the Apache settlement and incite them to attack the Union forces instead. As the plan unfolds, the Apache leaders become suspicious of McCloud's true identity and loyalties, leading to mounting tensions and the threat of violence when their demands for proof of his allegiance are questioned.
