This 111th installment of Merho's beloved Belgian series De Kiekeboes brings the adventure-tinged title Dédé bij nacht — "Dédé by Night." The cover sets a moody nocturnal tone, with a brooding, broad-shouldered man in a red coat dominating the foreground while a lively group of familiar Kiekeboe characters chats and reacts in the background outside a brightly lit building. Published by Standaard Uitgeverij in 2010, it's a fine entry in one of Flanders' most enduring and warmly humorous comic families.
