This standalone graphic novel by Barbara Stok tells the story of Hipparchia, one of the earliest known female philosophers in ancient Greece, who defied societal norms to pursue a life of wisdom alongside her partner, the Cynic philosopher Crates. The title references the philosopher, the dog (a symbol of the Cynics), and the wedding, capturing key elements of Hipparchia's unconventional journey. Originally published in Dutch by Nijgh & van Ditmar in 2021, it is a single-volume work, not part of a larger series despite the series listing.
