This anthology issue contains three stories. "Buffalo Rustlers" features Davy Crockett on horseback confronting cattle thieves. "Speedweed Sassoon" is a humorous tale about a character attempting to win a bet by opening a door without using his hands, employing an elaborate scheme involving writing, slipping the note under the door, and pushing it through. "Davy Crockett and the Live Bait" depicts the greatest frontiersman in a town controlled by crooks, with a bullet suddenly whining past Davy's head during a confrontation.
