Commander Battle and the Atomic Sub #1

Commander Battle and his atomic submarine crew discover an underwater island heavily guarded by alien beings from Mercury who have established a secret base called Atlantis. After the Atomic Sub is damaged in combat, Commander Battle and his men infiltrate the base to learn the aliens' plans: they intend to conquer Earth using weapons developed over centuries. When the Atomic Commandos realize they cannot escape via the main passage, they trigger an explosion that creates a fiery blast, forcing them to dive into the water to escape. Commander Battle successfully radios for immediate pickup of the submarine as it surfaces to rescue his men.
