Black Diamond pursues a gang of cattle rustlers who have stolen gold-filled cattle hides across the Mexican border. When the masked marshal discovers that an accomplice has switched the gold-laden hides with ordinary cattle panels as part of a larger counterfeit scheme, he battles both the rustlers and a Mexican bandit to recover the stolen treasure and expose the true culprits behind the elaborate plot.
