From Thiriet and Bercovici, this Fluide Glacial release sets the celebratory mood right on its cover: four laughing bar-goers raise foaming mugs of beer in gleeful unison, while a grumpy green monster and a dejected little blue Smurf-like figure sulk at the table below, stuck with a bottle of Get 27 and a Curaçao — clearly left out of the round. The title says it all: *Bière pour tout le monde… ou presque* ("Beer for everyone… or almost"), and that rueful "almost" is perfectly embodied by the two sad souls who didn't make the cut. A warm, witty 2016 comedy that promises plenty of good humor about the universal joys — and occasional indignities — of pub culture.
