Archie Giant Series Magazine #549
In "The Flying Barracuda (or, How To Make a Soar-Head Reel Mad)," Mad Doctor Doom’s latest scheme takes flight when he dispatches Chester to steal a hair from Little Archie, using it to power a robotic flying barracuda designed to hijack a gold bullion truck over Givalook Mountain—while also targeting the kid whose DNA matches the stolen strand. Written and illustrated by Bob Bolling, with inks by Chic Stone, colors by Barry Grossman, and lettering by Bill Yoshida, this 1985 adventure blends classic Archie absurdity with a high-stakes mechanical menace, all capped by a cover by Bolling and Stone.
