Alien Toilet Monsters #1
"Book One, Breaking the Seal" kicks off Alien Toilet Monsters #1 with a delightfully bizarre blend of multiversal horror and surreal humor, all anchored by the striking visuals of Eric Barnett, who handles writing, art, inks, and colors. In a dimly lit bar, a holographic nature show from beyond the multiverse takes a dark turn when a monstrous entity breaches reality, leading to a chaotic confrontation between Dylan, a trash-strewn outpost, and the I.M.P.D. soldiers. Meanwhile, across dimensions, Frank’s grief is interrupted by a visit from his wife Angel — from another world — while Andrea’s VR game takes an unexpected turn when she encounters the real-life author Carol Zara. The cover by Eric Barnett captures the issue’s offbeat, grotesque charm perfectly.

In Frank's bar, patrons enjoy a horrifying holographic presentation of wildlife from the multiverse similar to Earth's. Frank (a widower) gets a visit from his wife Angel, but from another multiverse. The Frank from her multi arrives as well. Andrea runs a VR game and encounters the embodiment of one of this comic's authors, Carol Zara. Meanwhile out in the multiverse where the nature show is being filmed, something goes wrong and a monster is transported back to our Earth. Dylan runs into the multiverse monster out by the trash, and the place is crashed by I.M.P.D. soldiers. Mayhem ensues.
