From Joker Éditions comes this cheerful Belgian humor album whose cover says it all — three stocky, self-important police officers in full uniform stand beside a speed radar and a 50 km/h sign, while two hapless motorists behind them look decidedly nervous near their car. D'Auwe's cartooning is loose and expressive, squeezing every drop of gentle absurdity out of the classic roadside speed-trap scenario. If you enjoy good-natured comedy at the expense of bureaucratic authority, this 2011 collection of Belgian cop gags looks like a very entertaining ride.
