"Something Toothsome" by Arthur J. Burks presents a weird crime and a hideously deformed protagonist. "Dead In Three Hours" by Elwin J. Owens features cyclones and sudden death. The issue includes H.G. Wells' "A Dream of Armageddon," depicting warfare; Edgar Allan Poe's reprinted "The Mask of the Red Death"; and the concluding installment of "Red Ether" by Pettersen Marasona, involving destructive radio-transmitted rays.
