This issue of the pulp magazine contains five serials in progress. "The Orchid Huntress" begins a three-part story, while "Prairie Flowers" continues its six-part installment at Part Two. "The Picture on the Wall" reaches Part Three of six, "The Mysterious Quest" advances to Part Four of five, and "What Was That?" concludes a six-part serial. A novelette by Bertram Lebhar titled "Mr. Binger Buys a Bed" appears complete. Seven short stories are also featured: "The Circle of Fate," "The Crimp," "Who's Boss?," "The Snow Bath," T. L. Sappington's "A Job for Mr. Finney," "Tim," and Chauncey C. Hotchkiss's "Pop Drummond's Birthday." Next issue will premiere "The Pearl Merchant" by George C. Shedd, described as the first in a series called "The Blazing Road," featuring protagonist Lord of Lords Jim in Near East adventures.
