This issue of Argosy-Allstory features five serialized stories in progress. Kenneth Perkins opens "Desert Voices," a six-part western beginning its first installment. Florence M. Pettee's romance "Marked Down" is in its second of four parts. Harry Sinclair Drago's "The Avenging Shepherd" continues into part three of six, while Isabel Ostrander's "Dust to Dust" reaches part five of a six-part mystery. Francis Lynde's "Cheddar Cheese" concludes its four-part run.

Shorter fiction includes James D. Swan's novelette "So This Is Wedlock!" and six short stories: "The Head Choma" by F. K. Means, Kenneth MacNichol's "Cave Man Stuff," Albert Dorrington's "Little Dark Ships," Roland Krebs' "Liquor and Woman," and Philip M. Fisher Jr.'s "The Tusk of the Butcher." Poetry contributions come from B. U. Davenport, Minna Irving, Mazie V. Caruthers, and Faith Baldwin. Next week promises the return of the "strange mystic" character in "The Opposing Venus" by J. U. Giesy and Junius B. Smith.
