Aubrey Tyson's The Black Smudge concerns an American entangled in Russian ducal intrigue.
Nine additional short stories include works by Alice Garland Steele, L. H. Bickford, W. Bert Foster, Matthew White Jr., Edgar Franklin, Howard R. Oaris, Earle Ashley Walcott, Charles Carey, and Edward A. Moore, addressing varied themes from speculation to cannibalistic plants.
