This issue contains four ongoing serialized stories. Ethel and James Dorrance's "The Red Glory" begins its five-part run, while "The Lions Jaws" by Victor Rousseau continues as part two of five. Max Brand's "Children of Night" appears as part three of a five-part serial, and Philip Gibbs's "Misery Mansions" runs as part four of six. A standalone novelette, Tod Robbins's "The Living Portrait," designated a "Different" novelette, is included. Six short stories round out the fiction: George Allan England's "Shall—or Shall Not," Raymond S. Spears's "Snow Hunters," Raymond Lester's "Colleen Rhue," Freeman Putney Jr.'s "Wuggles and Timmy Todd," Knight Dundy's "That Dancing Sunbeam," and Barry Conners's "One Performance." The issue also features poetry by Margaret G. Hays and Katharine Metcalf Roof, plus an editorial column titled "Heart to Heart Talks."
