Piotr Kowalski (born 1973) is a Polish comic book artist and writer best known for his detailed, atmospheric work on horror and historical adventure titles. He is most frequently credited for his art on *Badlands*, *Wellington*, and *The Steam Man*, as well as his contributions to the *Dark Tower: The Drawing of the Three - Prisoner* and *Bloodborne: The Bleak Dominion* series. Kowalski entered the comics industry in the mid-1990s, quickly establishing a style that balances gritty realism with expressive, often moody linework. His frequent collaborations include work with writer Christophe Bec on *Badlands* and *Wellington*, where his meticulous rendering of historical settings and monstrous creatures became a signature.
