Khoo Fuk Lung

Khoo Fuk Lung, also known as James Khoo, is a Hong Kong manhua artist and writer born on 21 February 1964. He made his mark in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with his credited work spanning 1999 to 2004 across a dozen issues. Khoo is best recognized for his contributions to *Solar Lord* and *Ultraman Tiga*, where he served as artist, colorist, inker, and writer. His style blends dynamic action with the clean, expressive linework typical of Hong Kong comics, often collaborating with local publishers to adapt popular media properties. While his catalog is compact, his role in bringing the *Ultraman* franchise into manhua form helped bridge Japanese tokusatsu with Chinese comic readership. After his active period, Khoo stepped back from the industry, leaving a modest but focused legacy as a creator who worked across multiple disciplines on a single, cohesive body of work.
