Shiro Yoshida
Shiro Yoshida is Sunfire, a proud Japanese mutant capable of generating and projecting intense solar plasma as superheated flame. Fiercely nationalistic and fiercely independent, he operates as an occasional — and often reluctant — ally of the X-Men.
Shiro Yoshida made their Bronze Age entrance in 1978's Strange #101, brought to life by the creative pairing of Steve Gerber and Don Heck for Editions Lug — and has been a presence in the catalog ever since, with appearances stretching across an impressive 46 years. Within the pages of Spécial Strange, Les mystérieux X-Men, and Marvel : Les origines, Shiro keeps remarkable company, sharing adventures with the likes of Colossus, Logan, and Scott Summers. Two of those appearances carry key-issue status, making this a name worth flagging for any serious collector with an eye for the Franco-Belgian Marvel publishing world.
