The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys

A post-apocalyptic punk-rock saga from Dark Horse, The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys (2013–present) expands the world of the My Chemical Romance concept album into a six-issue comic series. Co-created by Gerard Way and Shaun Simon, with art by Becky Cloonan and colors by Dan Jackson, it follows a group of masked renegades battling a totalitarian corporation in a neon-drenched desert. The series matters as a vivid, standalone extension of Way's musical mythology, blending anarchic energy with Cloonan's expressive, gritty visuals.
