About the series
In 2018, Casterman launched a two-issue comic adaptation of the beloved French detective series San-Antonio, bringing the irreverent, wordplay-heavy exploits of Commissioner San-Antonio and his sidekick Bérurier to a new generation. Written by Christophe Arleston and illustrated by Adrien Floch, this short run distilled the anarchic humor and fast-paced plots of the original novels into a vibrant, modern comic format. Though brief, the series stands as a stylish tribute to one of France’s most iconic pop-culture characters, preserving the series’ signature blend of crime, comedy, and linguistic invention.
