Nirta Omirli

A brief, two-issue series from French publisher Les Humanoïdes Associés, Nirta Omirli ran from 2004 to 2006. The story follows a young woman searching for her missing brother in a surreal, nightmarish city. Its haunting, painterly art and dreamlike narrative made it a distinctive, if fleeting, entry in the publisher's catalogue of imaginative European comics.
