About the series
In this two-issue Soleil series from 2008–2009, a group of children is sent to a remote summer camp where unsettling events begin to unfold. The story builds an atmosphere of creeping dread around the camp's isolated setting, blending childhood adventure with the beginnings of horror. Created by writer Fabien Vehlmann and artist Kerascoët, La Colo is a compact, atmospheric tale that showcases their early collaboration before their acclaimed work on Beautiful Darkness.
