The Crow: Skinning the Wolves #[nn]

This grim three-issue miniseries from IDW, set during World War II, follows a concentration camp prisoner who rises from the dead as the Crow to exact vengeance on his Nazi captors. Written by James O'Barr, the creator of The Crow, with art by Jim Terry, it expands the mythos into a historical horror setting while retaining the series' signature themes of love, loss, and bloody retribution.
