This first volume of the series 'Le Postillon' collects the opening chapters of a historical adventure set in the 19th century, following the journey of a postilion—a coach driver—whose path becomes entangled with political intrigue and personal discovery. The story, titled 'Ce qu'a vu le vent de l'Est' (What the East Wind Saw), was created by French writer and artist Jean-Claude Servais, known for his detailed, atmospheric art and rural narratives. Published by Glénat in 1990, this album initiates a saga that blends travel, mystery, and the harsh realities of the era.
