Ryōji Minagawa
Ryōji Minagawa, born July 5, 1964, in Sumida, Tokyo, is a Japanese manga artist best known for his dynamic, action-driven artwork on series like *Spriggan* and *Project ARMS*. He began his career drawing other manga before teaming with writer Hiroshi Takashige on *Spriggan*, a sci-fi adventure that gained an international following. In 1996, the pair were invited as guests of honor to a comic convention in Portugal, reflecting the series' popularity abroad. Minagawa later collaborated with writer Kyoichi Nanatsuki to co-create *Project ARMS*, a supernatural thriller that further showcased his detailed, kinetic style. His work is characterized by muscular figure work, explosive action sequences, and a clean, energetic line. In English-language markets, his art appears in titles such as *Striker: The Armored Warrior*, *Striker: Secret of the Berserker*, and *Striker: The Forest of No Return*, as well as in *Pulp* magazine.
