Jón Sveinbjørn Jónsson (28 June 1955 – 21 November 2008) was a Norwegian poet, children's writer, and translator of Icelandic citizenship, born and raised in Norway. He made his literary debut in 1973 with the poetry collection *Manus* and later wrote children's books such as *Pelle Parafins Bøljeband: Serum, serum* (1981) and *Håkon Håkonsson* (1990). During the 1980s, he was part of the poetic activist group Stuntpoetene, alongside Karin Moe, Triztán Vindtorn, and others. In comics, Jónsson is credited as artist, inker, letterer, and writer on 12 issues between 1983 and 1995, with his most-credited titles including *Brage*, *Die verlorene Zukunft*, *Doktor Fantastisk*, *Eva*, *Fred*, and *HP og Giuseppe Bergman*. His work in the medium reflects a literary sensibility and a collaborative spirit, though details of his specific comic creations and collaborators remain less documented. He died in November 2008, leaving a legacy that spans poetry, children's literature, and a modest but distinctive comics career.
