Béatrice

Béatrice is a French illustrator and comics cartoonist born in 1972. She is best known for her work as a colorist on the long-running series *Yoko Tsuno*, a role she has filled across numerous issues and collected editions including the *Yoko Tsuno Gesamtausgabe*, *Yoko Tsuno Integraal*, and *Carlsen Pocket*. Her career in comics spans from 1977 to 2024, with credits on 53 issues, primarily through her collaboration with the series' creator, Roger Leloup. Béatrice's coloring style brings a vibrant, atmospheric quality to the science-fiction adventures of the titular Japanese heroine, complementing Leloup's detailed linework. While her name appears most prominently in connection with *Yoko Tsuno*, her contributions as a colorist have been essential to the visual identity of the series over decades.
